Ingrid Law & 'Savvy' (The Book & the Movie)

From Ingrid's website: Ingrid Law's debut novel, Savvy, will be published in the Summer of 2008, by Dial Books for Young Readers in partnership with Walden Media.  Walden Media has also secured the rights to develop Savvy into a feature film.

In foreign rights deals, Ingrid has signed a two-book contract with Carlsen, in Germany. Savvy will be released as a lead title in Germany in the Fall of '09. Additional deals include Puffin U.K. and Italian publisher Edizione Piemme, both
for two books. Check back for release dates in the United Kingdom and Italy. Most recently, Ingrid secured a contract in The Netherlands.
